Sotabeam 20-40 Meters
Well the Holidays have been good to me. I have been able to order a two-band dipole from SotaBeams. This will eliminate having the drag the Buddistick up the summits. With the Buddistick there its a lot of weight involved. Not to mention you lose the use of one hand due to I’m carrying a tripod the whole way not to mention the post I use for the counterpoise. So needless to say although a great antenna the Buddistick is truly a pain for SOTA. Also I can now did my bulky and weighty MFJ antenna tuner.
So in 2016 I am hoping to make not only more SOTA contacts, but more frequent trips and more distant contacts as well. See you all in 2016!
